Hey, you.
Shout-out to summer love.
But a bigger shout-out to love that transcends seasons. At times it's tough to tell which love will last but even people who have been lovers for decades love differently every season.
This piece is about the fleeting possibilities of love. And to love wholeheartedly anyway.
Enjoy!
Light in Shining Armor.
From my tongue, to yours. Comets crossing paths at the right moments. Lightly grazing each other’s surface. Your fingers feel like permanence. Your presence is the Big Bang. The space between went from millimeters to light years. Sadly, that means we might have already kissed for the last time and not known it. That you might never save me from myself again, and the gravity of your last touch will one day spiral into retrograde amnesia. But for now, the constellations in the sky of our hearts are not star-crossed lovers, just stars in love crossing the universe together.
