Son of Luz y Antonio.

The first anniversary of my father's passing came by recently.

As summer started setting in, I did the most and also nothing at all. Socialized and secluded. Self-cared and self-destructed. Went through the entire spectrum of emotions. Through that uncertainty I found something deeper.

As I began forming a full-length poetry book, I felt another energy building inside of me.

*Insert Son of Luz y Antonio*

A chapbook of 16 poems that I put my love into. The majority of these poems were written between July & September from the heavier parts of my soul as I sorted through my grief. I wrote many other poems within that time but these select few touch on a handful of introspective thoughts.

Releasing this is also to celebrate my website launching, the life of my father, the fruits of my mother's labors in raising me, and my progress as a writer since this year began.
